This package showcases the contrast and spectacular sights of Central Australia and The Top End and the iconic rail journey between the two areas on The Ghan.
Day One: On arrival in Ayers Rock Resort, transfer to The Lost Camel for the next 3 nights.
Day Two: Revel in the early morning serenity as the sunrise colours change on Kata Tjuta as you join SEIT Outback Australia’s tour to view the spectacular 36 domes that comprise this spiritual place.
Day Three: This evening, join SEIT for an Uluru Sunset Tour. Appreciate the sheer size of the famous monolith as you are driven around its base and learn the local creation stories before taking in the ever-changing colours at sunset.
Day Four: Transfer with AAT Kings this afternoon for an overnight stay at Discovery – Kings Canyon Resort.
Day Five: Join your AAT Kings guide on Kings Canyon Scenic Climb Tour. The rocky climb to the rim of Kings Canyon for superb views of Watarrka National Park. Return to the Resort for the coach connection and an overnight stay at Crowne Plaza Lasseters Hotel
Day Six: A day at leisure before boarding The Ghan for a stylish overnight journey in a Gold Service cabin. Dine this evening in the classically styled Queen Adelaide Restaurant Car.
Days Seven, Eight & Nine: On arrival in Darwin, you will be transferred to the Argus Hotel for the next 3 nights. Discover magnificent scenery, fascinating pioneer heritage and a rich Aboriginal tradition with NT Indigenous Tours on a Litchfield Heritage Discovery Tour.
Day Ten: Today, bid farewell to Darwin after experiencing the natural beauty the Northern Territory has on offer.
