14 Day Kimberley Dream, Broome to Hunter River – Broome (Cruise/Fly)

Day One – Departure

Guests are collected from their accommodation venue at approximately 4.30pm. Chilled Champagne and appetizers are served as you get to know the crew and mingle with the other guests. As the sun sets over famous Cable Beach, we make our way out of Broome, let the adventure begin!

Day Two – Horizontal Waterfalls

Wake up to the delights of Yampi Sound. Start your day with breakfast, then depending on tides, board one of our custom-built tenders to collect fresh black lip oysters, or fish the headlands and creeks. Back on board, MV Diversity II will make its way to the well-known swimming hole at Crocodile Creek created by iron ore workers living on Koolan Island 40 years ago. As lunch is served, MV Diversity II moves through the Koolan channel and Dugong Bay before arriving at the thrilling Horizontal Falls in Talbot Bay. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner under a star-studded sky as we steam into the night.

 Day Three – Aboriginal Art

Awake to the aroma of fresh espresso and warm baked bread. Once energised, the crew will land you on the beach and to view the gallery of Aboriginal Art. On your descent, stop and enjoy the spectacular view across the water. Once back on board it’s a short steam into stunning Doubltful Bay to pursue fish, mudcrabs or explore one of the many freshwater swimming holes in the bay.

Day Four – Red Cone Creek

Depart Red Cone Creek early in the day and enjoy a short journey to nearby Montgomery Reef. MV Diversity will drop anchor in the channel carved out of the reef by huge tides over millions of years. Once anchored watch the wonder of the reef rising out of the ocean as the water cascades into the channel. Guests will then have the choice to fish the runoffs or just take the opportunity to photograph this very special part of the Kimberley.

 Day Five – Deception Bay

On Day five wake up to Deception Bay on low tide where guests will have the opportunity to fish and gather Oysters. Once the tide has risen, the crew will escort guests for a refreshing swim at one of the many fresh water swimming holes. We then set sail for the mighty Prince Regent River.

Day Six – Cascade Waterfalls

Wake up in the St George Basin and take the tenders up Spit Fire Creek for the opportunity to catch the prized Barramundi. Once the tide has risen the skipper maneuvers the boat under the powerful Kings Cascade waterfall. Guests will have the opportunity to swim and hike the surrounding areas, before we steam to Camp Creek for the night.

Day Seven – Camp Creek

Once guests have enjoyed breakfast, drop a line for the famous Fingermark and Mangrove Jacks and explore the Aboriginal Art work of the area.

Day Eight – Mermaid Tree
